AVID Technical Resources is seeking an Temporary Chief Information Security Officer to direct the information security programs that are designed to provide the protection and confidentiality of data, along with other information assets for our client based in Riverside, CA. This role pays $70- $110 per hour.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of management experience in information technology, with 5+ years focused on information security.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
- Experience with the following:
- Firewalls
- Anti-virus software
- Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDA/IPS)
- Virtual private networks (VPN)
- Remote access systems (RAS)
- Public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Encryption and digital certificates
- Routers and sniffers
- Distributed Denial of Service attacks (DDOS)
- Biometrics
- DMZ/Transaction Zones
- Business continuity planning
- Auditing
- HIPAA and related regulatory compliance
- Risk management
- Contract and vendor negotiation
- Physical security
